Eva Lucía Jiménez-Navarro (PhD) has been a full-time lecturer at the Department of English and German of the University of Córdoba (Spain) since 2015. She defended her doctoral thesis Treatment and representation of verb collocations in the specialized language of adventure tourism in December 2020, with a distinction “cum laude” and international mention. It covered her main research lines, namely: phraseology, terminology, specialized languages, lexicography, corpus linguistic and cognitive semantics. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences and her publications have focused on terminology and phraseology in the specialized discourse. She has also supervised a variety of Bachelor’s Theses on this topic. She has participated in the Erasmus+ programme of “Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignment” in the United Kingdom (2016/17), Poland (2017/18), France (2018/19) and Kyrgyzstan (2019/20) and carried out research on corpus linguistics (May-August 2018) in the University of Lodz (Poland). She is an active member of academic organizations (AELCO, AEDEAN, AESLA, AELINCO), research and teaching groups, and a member of the Editorial Board of Bibliography of Metaphor and Metonymy (MetBib) of the prestigious editorial John Benjamins. She has also participated in the organization of several international conferences (11th International Conference SCOLA in 2018, Cordoba International Metonymy Symposium and 2nd International Conference TRADITUR in 2022). She was the person responsible for the university entrance exams of English from October 2020 to September 2022.
